Twenty-five years ago, there were almost no community centres, schools, synagogues and churches that were accessible to adults and children with physical disabilities, including those with hearing impairments. There was also no affordable housing that addressed their needs.

So it is appropriate that I, an internationally published author, write a few words in honour of my current husband’s 80th birthday. I have to be careful that it doesn’t sound like a eulogy – mmm- that would have to be only nice comments.
I Think I Have Gotten Older – Is It Possible?
I have always been 16 years old…in my head. So no matter what my body was doing, I was 16. And I would often laugh when I told friends and business associates that despite what they had heard or read about me, I was still only 16.

What a Difference a Year Makes!
It’s a year later. A year since we had our first meeting with the publisher of my latest novel, The Third Hole. A year since the genius son told me I would have to starting writing blogs.
Off to Camp! Free at last, free at last…
Today, the children of my children are off to Camp Timberlane. Max is the oldest at 16 – this year he will be a CIT and he is so excited.
