It is so nice to be able to write a blog that is all about my perspective on men – don’t have to research, don’t have to fact- check, don’t have to get permission – Just have to share my opinions with all of you. Hang on!

I am finally in the mood to write a blog – a blog different from all those I’ve done so far – The Third Hole (my third novel) is now in the hands of the publisher – it will be launched in April – I have told you all about it – so what should I write about now?
The story – so far. In 1991 I was sent to the Vanier Prison for Women for six weeks. My crime? I was a volunteer signatory on a renovation grant. My colleagues were never charged.
The girls and I are dining at Centro and as we started on our second bottle of wine, our conversation moved to new topics and entered a question and answer mode. Men, Books, Sex and the Vanier Centre for Women – not necessarily in that order.
Blogs are often personal stories as this one shall be. But now I am having second thoughts about how much I should really share with you and how much I should edit in order not to shock, or offend those of you who will be reading it … especially now that so many of you do.
This blog is not a personal story – it is about a friend who was facing some health issues and she asked me to help her put her thoughts to paper. We were both very pleased with the results– now that she is gone, I am posting it for all of you to enjoy, as she enjoyed sharing it with me.
In walks two tall and quite cute teeny-boppers – who then introduced themselves to me as Doctor A and Doctor B, dermatologists – the assistants to my Surgeon, Dr. Nowell Solish whom I have not yet met. Well that tells you something about my progression into Senior life.
